Young musicians recital at Saenz Hall
On December 11, 2011, I had the opportunity to see some young tejanitos perform at the Saenz Hall in Fort Worth. These kids are taking music lessons on voice, guitar, bajo sexto, drums, accordian and various other instruments. I was amazed at the level of performance by these 9 thru 12 year old students.
Some of the Band Directors from the northside schools along with members of Latin Express, especially Leo and Carlos, provide these lessons (free most of the time) to these…
